The Friends of St Mary Magdalene are delighted to be arranging another evening of “Call My Wine Bluff”on Saturday 7th May 2016 at Wardington Memorial Hall.

The evening is lighthearted and fun and involves tasting six different wines. Each wine is described by three “experts”, two of whom are bluffing, and it’s up to you to decide which expert (bluffer) is telling the truth.  You will form into teams of six and it’s a great opportunity to meet new people, have fun with old friends and have a few glasses of wine.

The tasting is followed by a delicious, home-cooked supper of Cottage Pie followed by cheese, with house red and white wine available to buy by the bottle.

The evening is supported by SH Jones, our local wine merchant in Banbury, and is in aid of The Friends of St. Mary Magdalene who raise funds to maintain and improve the fabric of the church. All wines tasted will be available to buy on the night for a significant discount with a proportion of the proceeds going to the Fiends.

Tickets are £18 each (no concessions), available from:

Steve Mackenzie-Lawrie on 01295 758369 or steve.mlawrie@btinternet.com and
Philippa Hunt on 01295 758087 or philippa.hunt@btinternet.com

We won’t be issuing physical tickets but we will have a list of names of all who have paid on the door.
