I hope you are enjoying the good weather?

If you need an extra special gift this Sunday… then let us help you! We have baskets and pots planted along with lovely gifts in our shop which will make a wonderful gift for Mother’s Day. We’ll even gift wrap it for you.

April will be with us in the next few days so I thought now would be a good time to send you April’s gardening tips, I hope you find these useful.

Our Grow Your Own Day held last Saturday was a great success, as well as advice and tips on vegetable growing, Lynda, who is one of Oxfordshire’s master composters was here giving advice on composting and love food hate waste. We also had an over sized tomato walking the garden centre keeping customers amused!!! Thanks to everyone who supported this event.

Our next event will be the British Grown Evening on Tuedsay 19th April – 6.30pm-8.30pm.
This is your chance to wander the garden centre and talk to some experts. We will have British grown plants and produce for sale as well as The RSPB and this years guest speaker is Reg Moule. Entry £2 including refreshments of Hot cross bun and coffee. This promises to be a wonderful evening as well as raising money for Katharine House Hospice.

Our new range of herbs and vegetable plants are now ready and looking good.
