Wardington Village Cinema Needs You!

With just over 1 week to go until the planned 3rd screening for Wardington Village Cinema  we have only a handful of confirmed tickets sold.

Due to projectionist, licence fee and equipment hire costs of £180 for each screening, we are required to sell at least 45 tickets  just to break even!  Unfortunate if enough tickets are not confirmed sold before Sunday 2nd February, this showing will have to be cancelled.

So PLEASE pick up the phone and confirm your ticket with either Sam Young (01295 750871) or Paul Bimson (01295 758885) before Sunday 2nd February.

Feel free to invite friends and family – The film to be screened is Sunshine on Lieth (see poster below) and is rated PG – so is also suitable for older children, who are more than welcome to come along.

Don’t forget there is an interval and every ticket holder will receive a free luxury choc-ice!

Sunshine on Leith Poster

This is a feel good film, based on the sensational stage hit of the same name and featuring music by pop-folk band The Proclaimers. The film follows the stories of Davy and Ally, who have to re-learn how to live life in Edinburgh after coming home from serving in Afghanistan. Both struggle to learn to live a life outside the army and to deal with the everyday struggles of family, jobs and relationships.
